Australia is another country that requires microchipping of all imported dogs and cats. If you are planning to travel to Australia, the animal must be microchipped before it receives its rabies vaccinations, typically 210 days before scheduled travel. The official Australian Quanrantine Inspection Service application form can be obtained here:
Section 4 requires microchip identfiication fo the animal, and states that TROVAN is one of the acceptable microchip types.
